I had actually finished watching Battlestar Galactica a couple of days before playing Binary Domain, so I was immediately taken aback by the coincidental themes of cyborg soldiers that think, look, and act like human, even going so far as to believe they are human. Every character has their own personality and the voice acting is actually pretty decent, considering how bad it could have been. Just reading what I wrote may be enough for some people to go "Oh, it's the type of game that has two friends being friends and bro'ing out", but the thing is, it's got charisma. I don't know why, but somewhere around Dan and Big Bo broing it out in the beginning, I had a "THIS GAME IS FUCKING DOPE" moment that I don't have often. However, when I started playing the actual, full game(Thanks PS+!) I was instantly hooked. I played the demo when it came out and watched the Giant Bomb guys play it, and I ended up writing it off because there was nothing about it that made it a "must have".
